Simmer down...

Have you ever had to unintentionally pause for a moment or two because it felt like life was handing you a reason or purpose to simmer down a bit.

In others words...

Something, someone or some event in your life led you to take a break from your daily doings only to realize that there was a lesson to be learned as a result of it? (when you least expected their to be one?)

I know for me...

Life has been thrown me a few memos in the face reminding me to stop and breathe more frequently because perhaps I haven't been............enough.

And breathe...

If anything...

These unintentional pauses have been shedding some light onto (and into) those things that perhaps I need(ed) to give more attention to or...

Less thereof.

Be it from my exercise routine, to my daily, habitual doings, to me writing over here on my blog...

The shifts and breaks in my day-to-day dos have reminded me of my need to continue to go with the flow while, opening myself up more to the groove that be life because...

If I don't take a moment to whine down (and I continue pushing forward) I risk not being able to learn more about the direction in which I am headed. (I won't have an inkling about the path I am or will be on because I will not have taken the time to stop and smell the roses.)

Or FUlly enjoy what is meant to be savoured.

No doubt...

There isn't only one right path to follow but yet....

Many more that include twists and turns so...

I need to keep my eyes wide open and my feet flat on the ground ready to walk on the many roads that await me while...

Enjoying the scenery of course.

  1. I am with you! Typically the person/thing I need to stop and take a break from is my own negative self-talk. Lately I have been doing more yoga and meditation. And subs days hrs as simple as savouring that cup of coffee!
