#RECIPEFRIDAY: Dishing Out The Recipes...

Oh hey...

It's #RECIPEFRIDAY and...

I have a slew of recipes to share with you from last week's round up!

I've been making these on the regular!

But before I dish those out...

Let's recap a little bit of the week shall we?

Let's do it in pictures yes? (Photos are always FUn!)

I've been loafing around a whole lot.
Always using my sourdough starter to make my loaves rise.
Loving experimenting with different flours, flavours, combinations and techniques.
If anything...
I'm learning that life is truly a slice worth savouring :)
So then I savoured this moment right herrrr.
Proof that healthy living is FUn and not a chore :)
I also savoured this little jar of nut butter from a lovely girl I met through my blog!
Bread and butter brought us together :)
Yummmeh!
I've been running lots this week.
It started with a 11km run. Then 16km....
Then 10km.
I enjoyed each run to the very FUllest...
Taking good care of my right shin that's been wonky as of late.
This was a lone chair.
It's always out.
It waits for someone to sit in it.
I seized the opportunity.
I also seized the opportunity to refresh myself with a cold can of Grapefruit Citrus Zevia.

Okay so enough about me...

Let's get to the eats that were submitted last week!

I'm sure at least one will appeal to you!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I know Teddy's excited ;)

Questions FU You...

How was your week? Plans for the weekend?
How do you take care of sore shins? (I've been wearing compression socks post-run and icing it (I can't run with them, I've tried). I had also taken a week off of running. I find there is more discomfort when I start running, although the 'pain' diminishes with distance....BUT then it comes right back when I'm done with my run. Le sighhhhhhh....)

  2. It all looks amazing- especially your bread! Sore shins are no fun- taking a week off was a good idea, and then you may be able to ease back in with less mileage but avoid any high intensity moves (jumping/plyo) until it feels better. Keep icing and using compression, too!

  9. Great recipe roundup.

I would try some foam rolling, the stick, or perhaps a massage to loosen things up. Strange that you are getting them now b/c it is usually a beginner thing and you've been running for some time. Hope you can get it sorted out.

  10. I can't imagine there are many things in your life that are a "chore". Your perspective and attitude prevent it :)
