Taking Healthy Living On Road and #RECIPEFRIDAY...

So I've been on the road for the past few days and...

I swear it feels like it was just yesterday that I left home! (I've been so on the go that the days have been flying by!)

On my way out West.

Amid all of the busyness though...

I have been doing what I can when I can (#wycwyc) to stay on track with my healthy living goals! (That is, to treat and care for myself the best way I know how!)

Brought with me my gym apparel.
And yes...
That included my awesome T-shirt that I ordered from PR a few months back!
Pumped it up on most days.
In the extra early morning or late at night :)

That said...

No part of me has been stressing over keeping up with my regular routine because...

I know that I am committed to FUelling myself mindFUlly and intuitively while...

Doing what feels good (and right) for me in both body and mind! (I'm definitely not over-thinking it. But, I do believe that part of it has a lot to do with the fact that I've learned a lot from planning ahead, which comes hand in hand with my commitment to the lifestyle I chosen to live by! No doubt though it's not always easy but, you do your best which is what matters most!)

There is relief in knowing that I will be back to my normal programming in no time so...

Whatever I can't do or keep up with is only temporary! (The importance is that I am putting my efforts in where I can, as much as I can without pushing myself beyond what I believe to be good for me, mentally and physically!)

But I am keeping up with what is going on back home.

No doubt about it...

I have been enjoying myself...

Quest Bars do come in handy if I need a quick protein fix ;)
FUnny story...
I got stopped at the airport for my PB2 (powdered substance).
In the midst of the search of my bags...
They came across my bars too.
They asked where they could get both things lol

Savouring all things...

Why you must always request the window seat...
Unless you're a frequent user of the loo.
I bumped into a friend randomly on the streets of Vancouver.
I haven't seen her in over three years.
We savoured our time together over dinner...
The day following our serendipitous rendez-vous!

And, overall...

I've been feeling good! (Those in-between moments that I've had to slow down truly give me the refresh I need, whether they last 30 seconds or not!)

Even at the end of the day :)

I do believe that this 'feel good feeling' does have something to do with the balancing of those things that are important to me! (And not putting any sort of pressure on myself to do more that what I can which, has the potential to throw me off balance!)

Fortune cookies are great reminders to us all and...
I think this fortune came to me at the perfect time.
I got this at the fabulous new restaurant, Bambu, that we tried out last weekend!

Now seeing that's it's #RECIPEFRIDAY and...

Seeing that I've been on the road all week...

I have....
Been missing...
Baking me (and others) some sourdough bread!
These are my loaves from last weekend.

I do have a recipe to share with you which is...

Something super simple that SuperFit and I have both been enjoying regularly...

As a side dish!

Sweeeeeet potaaaaaaaaaaatoes.
