PlantFusion Review + Giveaway: Fusing Plant-Based Protein Into The Mix...

So I got a new protein powder to try out from PlantFUsion thanks to Rebecca who reached out to me to see if I wanted give it a go.

After seeing a few bloggers talking about it (and after doing my own research)...

I agreed to be a taste tester! (I do love to taste new things! hehe)

**The following giveaway is sponsored by PlantFusion. While I received free product, all opinions shared are honest and my own, as always.**

I've never tried a plant-based protein before so...

I was excited to give PlantFUsion a taste! (I do love how FU is in the name too ha!)

I was given an assortment of protein powder  flavours to try.
I have yet to try the 'phood'.
21 grams of protein and 120 cals per serving.
For more nutritional information go here.

In case you didn't know...

PlantFUsion is known for the following:
  1. It is free from all major allergens such as dairy, soy, gluten, eggs, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.
  2. It is also free from artificial flavours and preservatives.
  3. It is easily digestible and...
  4. "It is the first plant-based protein that compares to animal proteins (like whey) in amino acid density and balance."
Having learned this...

It took me no time to put this protein powder to the test. (I was ready with an open mouth!)

Talk about a mug shot ;)
So...

I had it two ways.

The first was as a protein breakfast bowl...

Recipe to follow.

And the second...

As a shake.

Recipe for the FUsion shake:
  1. 1 packet of the PlantFUsion protein powder
  2. 10oz water
  3. 5 ice cubes
  4. 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  5. A pinch of ground cinnamon

If anything...

I wanted to inFUse PlantFUsion into my eats to see how it would all turn out! (Now that the nutritionals were in line.)

**

After trying out a few of the flavours given...

This was my overall verdict:
  • I had the Chocolate, Chocolate Raspberry and Cookies & Cream. They were all good, and much more tasty than I'd imagined them to be, although not AS thick and voluminous compared to my whey protein. (That said, I didn't expect it to be the exact same.)
  • It microwaved, and baked well, which was awesome.
  • I was surprised at the amount of protein per serving. I was pleased, no doubt.
  • It was easy on my gut (which is important because there are some protein powders my tummy can't handle)
  • If you follow a plant-based diet, I would highly suggest you try out PlantFusion.
  • If you've always wanted to try a plant-based protein, then I would recommend you try this one out.

So now to FUse you up...

PlantFusion is giving one winner the chance to win 1 lbs tub of protein powder of choice.

I am trying out lots of new products right now to see which one fits best and can help me pass that Olympic qualifying time! It definitely looks a lot better than many of the other protein products out there that are full of junk! Sustainability is very important to me too, plant fusion seems like a genuine company who cares, I like that :)
