#RECIPEFRIDAY: Oatmeal Chocolate Protein Raspberry Dome Cake!

Hooray for Friday!

I cannot believe that we are already one week into December...

I mean...

It seems like just a week ago it was November ;)

And that Teddy Bear got his new fro cut!

Without a doubt...

Time has been passing by fairly quickly but...

I will have you know that...

I haven't felt any of the holiday rush, stress or what have you.

Even if I don't have my house decorated yet, set up the tree, let alone started gift shopping...

Rushing and stressing myself to get it done will only take away from the joy of actually doing it all. 

I want to decorate the house, scout for our tree and set it up, as well as begin my holiday shopping so...

My plan is to get it done...

While enjoying the experience that comes with it. 


In the spirit of love and giving...

We need to slow down in order to embrace the season for what it has to offer!

Which includes my amazing gift wrapping.

Speaking of slowing down...

It's been great being at home and cooking in my own kitchen now that I've been back for two whole weeks!

Egg White Bites.
Greek Yogurt with Berries and Flax Seeds.
Oven-baked Rainbow Trout Salad
Granted I didn't cook this but my Mama did, as per my request.
She rocks!
Basmati Rice, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry,  Chickpea Curry, and homemade Naan bread.

Actually planning out my meals and grocery shopping has been FUn which is why...

I can't wait to share with you my new recipe of the week!

It literally takes less than 10 minutes to make and...

It's super tasty!

Oatmeal Chocolate Protein Raspberry Dome Cake!

Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 3 1/2 minutes.

  • 1/2 cup dry Oatmeal 
  • 1/3 cup Egg Whites 
  • 1/3 cup Raspberries
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (brand of choice)
  • 1 tsbp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 packets of NOW Vanilla Stevia (or sweetener of choice)
  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add all of you ingredients and mix them well. (You can blend if you prefer)
  2. Place your bowl in the microwave and cook for approximately 3 minutes (be sure to keep watch as the mixture inflates. If it does, stop, let it deflate, and cook a little while longer if necessary.)
  3. Remove from microwave, flip over onto a plate, and enjoy!

  • Feel free to add your favorite toppings, such a PB2, PB&Co, Greek Yogurt, Fresh Fruit etc.
  • You can also bake this blend in a ramekin dish for a different texture at 375F for about 15-20 minutes.

  11. Last year the holiday season stressed me out because my sister and I had to do all the cooking for one of the Christmas dinners. This year we don't so its a lot less stressful.

  19. OKAY I am so impressed with myself - I ACTUALLY BAKED... Like with a muffin tin and everything! I did the easiest thing ever... Protein Powder & Pumpkin - WORKED LIKE A CHARM and it's so good, now I cannot stop! I am a baking FIEND! lol
