I didn't think I'd go another 5 days without exercising but...
The Universe definitely intended that I rest a little while longer! (So, I chose to listen and rest some more!)
I totally thought I was doing way better on Wednesday but...
My flu, now turned chest cold, has proven otherwise.

I've been staying true to my word in that...
I haven't been over-exerting my mental and physical self nor...
Have I been pushing myself to get to the gym either! (I totally would have before, not going to lie!)
My priority has been to take care of my health first and foremost.
I will take things slow as I transition back into my routine. (So I don't flush this refresh down the toilet!)
It's what my body wants so I won't put up a fight. (But let's face it, I'm so over being sick at this point!)

It seems like ages ago since my hair was blonde.
I've been asking a lot of my body lately so...
It's only fair that I take good care of the machine that keeps me going!
I need to keep my balance.
Which brings me to my recipe...
Seeing that I haven't worked out at all this week...
I've been careFUl with how much energy I've been consuming. (Makes perfect sense to me! And surprisingly enough, my body feels a lot better with my revised 'diet' so to speak. Honestly, it's been another refresh of sorts and it happened in the most unintentional of ways!)

Spicy, Cheesy Egg white Omelettes!
I came up with a new low carb recipe to satisfy my protein bites addiction! ;)
This new recipe takes absolutely no time to make (well, that's a lie but you know what I mean)...
It's super tasty! (Well, I think it is since I've been making it on the regular!)
Here's the recipe for my...
Low Carb Sweet and Salty Zucchini Protein Bites!
- 8 Burnbrae Farms Egg Whites
- 1 Small Zucchini
- 2 tbsp Ground Flax Seeds
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 packets (or 4 drops) of Vanilla Stevia (I use NOW Products or NuNaturals)
- 2 tbsp PB2 (peanut flour or nut butter)
- A dash of Salt
- 1/2 cup Berries (of choice)
- 1/2 scoop Protein Powder (of choice)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Pre-heat your oven to bake at 400F
- Spray your mini-cupcake pan (or baking mold of your choice), with some cooking spray of your liking
- Blend all of the ingredients together
- Once blended, pour the mixture into each empty space of your bakeware
- Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes
- Remove from oven, plate, and enjoy!
Should you not have bakeware, feel free to make pancakes.
