Growing Stronger!

Good morning everyone and...

Happy What I Ate Wednesday to you!

#FUFACE

In keeping with Wednesday's theme...

Today I get to share with you a little peek into my eats as I prepare for the OPA Ontario Championships!

Honestly...

I can't believe I'm already 7.5 weeks out!

Where has time FUreakin' gone?!

Like...

My prep has just flown by me and...

I'm now less than two months away from stepping on stage! (I was talking to 007 about my prep and I couldn't believe how close I was to my competition date!)

But, that being said and more than anything...

I'm excited to be competing at the Provincials! (How can I not be?!)

Knowing that...

I've been giving 110% of myself to my prep...

That in itself  makes me proud of every single little step I've made to getting myself stage ready! (Both mentally and physically!)

I mean...

Competing for me has always been about the journey and...

It's always been about learning about myself and my body that...

Not a day goes by that...

I'm not grateFUl for what my body has shown me it can do and...

How strong it has shown me it is! (Every day I grow stronger and stronger both inside and out!)

Also...

I'm incredibly grateFUl for the support and encouragement I've received time and time again from...

My Coach (my love and my best friend), my family, my friends, my teammates and all of YOU! (Simply no words could ever describe my level gratitude! It really makes the journey that much more special!)

Needless to say...

It's been yet another amazing ride and I look forward to what the weeks ahead will bring with all of you right by my side! :)

Alright so...

On with the competition eats!

Thanks Jenn for this great link up!

Things have been pretty well the same for me on the diet and rotation front of things so...

You  may see a few repeats in what I'm about to share!

Either way...

They are tasty and my meals leave me completely satisfied!

It turned our super duper good!

  1. Salmon is such a great food that doesn't need much to dress it up. I think it's always best kept simple with a few spices. BTW - how is it only 7.5 weeks away before your comp? It just seems like you announced it!

  19. 7.5 weeks?! Woo hoo! You are looking awesome.

I don't know how people eat plain chicken. you can dress it up so easliy with spices. I started making my own salt-free blends and giving them to other competitors at the gym.

  26. My fave Mrs.Dash is the Extra Spicy :) It's not really that spicy, but gives a great smoky flavor to everything. I love making egg sandwiches (sprinkle it in while the eggs are cooking) with avocado.

No Mrs. dash for me! I TRY to stay away from pre packaged items as much as possible, not all of them (I am far from perfect) but just as much as I can. That spice looks really good though.
