Competition Prep: OPA Ontario Championship Update #2!

Hey everyone...

I hope this day finds you well!

It finds me with my second nespresso in hand :)

In keeping you up to date with how my competition prep is going as I work towards the OPA Ontario Championships...

I've put together another vlog for you! (I realize my hair is dipping into my coffee mug lol)

Since making this video...

I am now 13 weeks away from hitting the stage! (And not 14)

Don't worry...

I'll be updating you next week on how things are going! :)

Question FU You...

What are you working towards and how's it coming along?

  1. Yay, another vlog! I admire you for your patience - I'm always working on being patient when things go slowly, no matter what goal I'm working towards. Thank you for the reminder of the importance of patience and determination.

Congratulations on the "personal bests" and on the sponsorship - keep on rocking the competition prep! The Championship competition will be here before you know it :)

Did you follow the Arnold Classic 2013 results at all? It took place in my home state (just a side note, haha).

    1. I think patience is something we have to continuously work at. We don't become experts at it nor do we perfect the art of it. It's something I'm continuously practising...no matter the goal :)

      And thanks for the congrats!!!!

I followed some of the Arnolds for sure! Have you ever gone?

    2. Absolutely. Practice for patience :)

Never gone (the competition is in Columbus, which is 2 hours from my city - schedule conflict), but at least there's online updates. Hopefully I can go one year!

  2. I will be patient ma'am! I have a slow metabolism and sometimes get really frustrated with my asthma, but have to remember that I'm it there doing it!

  5. I'm in the same boat as you - stiff neck for the past 2 weeks! I pinched a nerve somehow. Totally stinks but mine is finally getting better.

Great advice! And ice, ice, ice baby!

    1. I went for a massage! I had to. 60 minutes on my neck and shoulders! It did wonders! It's still stiff but definitely not painful.

Glad to hear yours is getting better :)

Nothing beats old school Vanilla Ice!
