#RECIPEFRIDAY: Protein Packed Hummus!

Good morning everyone...

Can you believe Friday is here already?! (This means I only have a few more days left in my vacation! Sigh!)

How did all that time go by so quickly?!

Now...

Before I get into today's recipe...

I thought I should let y'all know that...

I'm in Toronto, with my brother (Mr. FUntastic)...

Sibling road trip to his new digs!
My sister is staying at my Aunt's house with my cousins :)

Ready to get things started (in the kitchen) for his 30th birthday celebration! (Yep, it's going to be a FUn time tonight!)

We went out to an incredible restaurant last night called Guu.
Holy Bananza it was good and FUn!
Happy Birthday Obeeeebaaaa! ;)
My nickname for mahh big brothaah!

Oh...

Did I mention I'm also meeting up with Krysten from The Misadventures of a Darwinian Fail (for the very first time) today?!

Here she is doing the #FUFACE :)

I'm super duper excited for our date! (Maybe even a little nervous too! lol I do wish Morgan from Life After Bagels could come out as well but she's sick with a crazy cold/flu that's been going around! Boo!)

Okay...

In keeping with tradition...

Today is the day I get to share with you a new recipe via...

RecipeFUriday

So...

In light of my making a few appetizers for my big brother's birthday (by request)...

I thought I would share with you a new recipe I will be putting out and using in one of tonight's appz!

Let's rewind a little bit...

As of late...

SuperFit and I have been enjoying Hummus with our meals!

Having said that...

I thought enough was enough...

I just had to make my own!

So...
I did!

And, can you believe...

I even got SuperFit to help out?! (He sure did! lol)

He did a fine job ;)

Without following any recipe (don't worry, I took notes)...

I went with my gut and went for it!

I gotta say...

I think it turned out great!

So...

Here's the recipe!

  4. I love hummus! How have I never added Greek? Did you peel all the casings off the chickpeas? It's a pain but makes it crazy smooth.
