Juggling...

**This is a topic I've written about before. It serves as a great reminder to myself in the every day balancing scheme of things!**

Balance is something...

I believe to be vital for us to work at every.single.day!

No matter if we lose our balance...
We have to continuously work at getting ourselves
 levelled  again.

After deciding I would change my sedentary lifestyle to a healthy one...

I had to figure out how I would balance myself (in that moment and period in time) in order to make those changes stick, on top of...

Keeping my mind and body happy at the same time!

Also...

There was a need for me to take a look at how I was currently balancing myself, in every day life, to ensure...

I kept on moving forward! (I had to plan out how exactly I was going to make these things, these life changes, work, for me!)

Having said that...

No two people will balance themselves the same way because...

What works for you may not necessarily work for me (and vice versa)

With that in mind...

You have to figure out what is best for you in the balancing scheme of things.

Take time to think about it.

**And don't get me wrong, I'm still trying to put more balance into some aspects of my life because I know I'm lagging in some areas. Trust me, I don't have it all figured out, although, I am making an effort to balance myself the best way I possibly can!**

And quite honestly...

I don't believe there is a perfect formula for finding balance because there will always be a need to juggle things around as nothing ever remains the same! (We grow, we mature and we are constantly learning and adapting to the world around us!)

I didn't know how to juggle, even as a clown ;)

** I won't deny that I've struggled at times in finding what my balance is exactly because I've never once tried to apply it into my own life before deciding it was time to do so. The balancing act was something I needed to practice if I was going to commit myself to healthy living. In my search to find what my body and mind needed to make my life as balanced as I could make it to be, I needed to put some effort into my new (revised) way of thinking...for my own benefit! I also had to realize that not everything was going to be perfectly balanced nor could I have it allI mean, still to this day, I do get off-balanced (sometimes literally lol) but, what I can guarantee you is, I will do whatever it takes to get myself back into place. I know life isn't always going to be easy and that things will get thrown off balance at times. That being said, it's up to us to get back up and stand on our own two feet again.**

Like everything...

We change, we evolve and...

We have to continue adjusting and re-adjusting ourselves in order to keep our overall balance!

So...

That's what I will continue doing as I go along in my journey through life!

Question for you...

In the every day scheme of things, what do you find most difficult to balance?

  3. Throughout this post I was thinking about Dr. Seuss. "Step with great care and great tact, and remember that life's a great balancing act... and will you succeed? Yes you will indeed!" :)

    Great reminder!

  5. I definitely am trying to juggle things in life: being a mom and a wife come first but after that is volunteering, blogging, cooking, cleaning, yoga, running, and trying to find some "me" time in there to. Loved this post :)

  6. I honestly wish I had a different fitness type of job....not an office job....so I could do what I love all day! But I realistic and work hard at everything I do and know God has a plan fr me :)

  7. I love that quote with the bicycle. So true.

Balance is so hard, some days are better than others. I'm working at letting the unimportant things go. Although sometimes I forget things, I try to forgive myself and know that tomorrow will be better.

    1. Agreed. It's not always going to be easy. We have to continue working at it and find what is best for us...in that moment in time. Things change, we change...it's all relative :)

Being mindful that we need balance is definitely the first step in making a point to include more of it into our lives!

  8. Knowing you - I was expecting to literally see you juggling ;-) I def think everyone is different in how they balance everything and that it changes. That's what makes it even more difficult - the constant unconstant.

  10. Since balance is one of my words for 2013 I loved reading your post. As with many people, I struggle to balance all the aspects of my life, work, home, writing, family, and give to each the time and attention that they need and deserve.

  11. Great post Kierston! I so get this! I really got it when I was working 60++ hours a week & had stepkids that were younger even though they did not live with us we still had them at times & had to do things with & for them.

You are so right about each person finding their own balance & what works for them - just like fitness & food & life. It is all individual!

I still struggle with it even today. Figuring this out is life long since life changes all thru the months & years & decades...

I hope all is fine with you as I see you are writing about this a lot.. :)

I want to respond to every comment and read the blogs of new people coming to my site, but I simply do not know how to make it all happen and still maintain a household. Help! I not succeeding!
