Things have been a bit stressFUl over the past few days!
| This was on the worst of days this week. Sad , stressed and exhausted #FUFACE. |
That being said...
I came across these words the other day....
And, I have to tell you...
They hit the spot just right.
| Sure did. |
Sometimes....
Life will require us to shift things around a little bit so that...
We can clear a new path and begin anew or...
Redirect ourselves in order to move along as we had originally envisioned! (In the direction we had intended for - only with some added right and left turns!)
Now...
Whether or not it is a path that will get us to the destination we had mapped out...
We, as individuals, continuously have to be mindFUl that...
Things happen and we just have to roll with it! (To be best of our abilities, no matter how difficult, unfortunate or unwanted these redirections may be!)
As easy and as simple as this may sound...
It's true! (When I had begun writing this post, I had wished it to be as easy and as simple as it sounds!)
Having said that...
No matter what path we are on (and how rocky it can get sometimes)...
There will always be a solution to resolve (or get through) whatever it is we may be dealing with!
Seeing and knowing that sometimes it takes a little readjustment to keep on going...
That in itself...
Makes me confident and hopeFUl that yes...
Things will come out brighter than the storm we may currently feel like we are in.
Like everything...
It passes.
So, when a storm hits...
I will take those moments to readjust myself and...
Continue sailing along until the sun starts to shine again!

With that in mind...
Here are some...
Questions FU You...
What do you do when a storm hits?
How do you regroup?
Stay Tuned FU More On *CaNdY FiT*
**I'm keeping it real on the blog letting you know that my days aren't always bright! I'm being honest with myself and with you. Things have calmed and the storm has passed (with respect to the issue that brought upon this post). I readjusted myself, worked through it and in the end, everything turned out to be just fine! Now, I'm just happy to be home and with my family**

What an amazing post girl! Yes I truly believe you can turn things around and find some good in everything. I hope your day is going better today! :-)
ReplyDeleteomg your sad face is so sad!!!!! great tips! life does go on and everything happens for a reason. i like to do some yoga or something truly for myself when times get tough.
ReplyDeleteGreat advice! I have a knee jerk reaction to panic in stress, but then I calm it down and move on. practice makes perfect, right?
ReplyDeleteI really love that Elizabeth Edwards quote! When I'm stressed I try to remember to take things one thing at a time. It will all get done eventually!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post and much needed inspiration right now. I hope things calm down soon for you!
ReplyDeleteWhen a storm hits, I do a LOT of praying! I try to destress and stay positive!
ReplyDeleteKierston, hope things get better but I totally get what you write about!
ReplyDeleteLove all those sayings & we just have to keep learning & keep adjusting our sails - life long - HUGS!
This is such a fabulous post! Oh, that sad face, I'm glad you found the inspiration to turn it around! Yes, things don't always go our way, but it's accepting that that will happen and moving forward from there rather than letting it defeat us that matters! Stay strong, healthy, and happy, m'dear!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned when we first started sailing many years ago is that you have to take the route that the weather and circumstances allow. You may get there slower but you WILL get there. And sometimes the slower, longer route is more fun and more interesting, too.
ReplyDeleteHope things continue to look up for you!
Keep that head up girl! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou have some serious puppy dog eyes! Makes me want to give you a big hug!
ReplyDeleteI always take a time out and step away from everything to regroup and rethink my approach. Yoga, a walk alone, or even something like going to Starbucks and chilling out in a comfy chair people watching. It always ends up working out muc better if I have that time to adjust my attitude and route the best way through the storm/stress that is clouding up.
Hang in there! You'll get through this! I know how hard it is when tough times hit but you have the right attitdue! One step at at time.
ReplyDeleteOh...you are speaking directly to me today. Everything has me on edge today. I feel like throwing things and screaming but that gets me nowhere. So instead I will sit and breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Glad you the storm has passed for you! i'm getting there...
ReplyDeleteLove this post Kierston and I also appreciate that you're keeping it real here. Things aren't always peachy keen and we get into funks. I love that first quote and how you adjusted your sails. Such a great metaphor. Thank you for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteWay to be POSITIVE and seek the lesson in the experience. I LOVE that you are being honest. Sending lots of love and positive energy your way!
