Make The Time!

Good morning everyone!

I hope this day finds you well :)

Over the past week...

I've been reflecting a lot about certain aspects of my life I hope to grow in...

A little bit (a lot) more.

That being said...

These moments I have taken for myself  - time - is a thing of sorts I am most grateFUl for.

I used to say I had not time but...

By learning to make the time...

I have come to appreciate what this time has done for me and my growth as an individual! (In health, fitness, and life itself!)

By giving myself time to....

Think, do, and create...

Thinking about doing and creating.

As well as...

Time to cook...

Time to exercise...

Time to live....

Time to me...

Savor The Book

And...

Time to enjoy...

Simple pleasures :)

Everything that I have put time into has only benefited me in the long run!

I mean...

If I didn't give any time to myself...

I wouldn't have been able to discover the many areas of the person I am today and...

What I've come to be passionate about! (There is still so much more to discover if I continue giving myself time to explore!)

Exploring.

I can definitely tell you that the time vested in me and the things I love (be it people and passions (new and old))...

That in itself has brought nothing but happiness, love and FUlfilment into my life!

In a way too...

The time spent has also amounted to balance! (Balance is something I will never cease to work at!)

Working on keeping my balance.

I won't deny though....

Sometimes I do struggle with time (giving it and/or taking it) but...

By being mindFUl of it...

I know I have it in me to make the clock go round a little smoother if I continue to work at it! (So that I can balance everything out to the best of my ability...if I give myself the time to do so! Makes sense right?!)

At the end of the day...

I know that I can better myself in areas I wish to flower in if I just give myself a little more time to practice! (This can be in areas such as time spent with family, friends, in my professional growth, life, health, fitness and everything else!)

Overall....

I have learned that...

There is time...

And...

It's up to us to make it!

source

So...

If there's something you want to get after, do and/or accomplish...

Then make the time!

Even if it's just a little bit at a time! (Nothing will get done on its own if you don't invest any time in the things you want!)

Questions FU You...

What would you like to devote more time to?
Do you make time for yourself regularly? How best do you like to spend this time?

  1. Love this. I too am finally making the time to have "me time" and not apologize for that. It's important to do things with and for others, but you also can't lose the time with yourself for peace & quiet.

  2. This is really inspiring, Kierston :) Thanks for posting :) I love your blog so much and always leave feeling inspired! I definitely give myself a lot of ME time, but I think I could devote more time to helping me be successful in my future if that makes sense?

    xoxo

    Love you

  3. YES! It drives me nuts to hear people say "I don't have time." You have to make it, people!! And itz OK to make time to relax, enjoy, exercise, etc!!!

  4. I guess my exercise time is most definitely my "me" time. Sometimes I do wish I could set aside extra time just to "be" though. I feel like I'm always moving even if I enjoy it, it's still constant. I am going to have to start setting aside time to study for my personal trainer cert!

  5. I make the time for workouts but I really don't make time for anything else for me. Gotta work on that...

  6. Such a great message! Balance isn't a magic recipe. It takes work. But then you are able to do all the things you LOVE!

  9. Time for your priorities is sooo important. I like to think about 'taking' time, rather than 'making' time. We all have only 24 hours in the day. You can't 'make' any more. But you can 'take' some of those hours and use them for things that really fuel and energize them!

Such an important concept! I love self-care...

  10. Absolutely agree with this! If it's important to you, you can always find the time. I wish more people understood this!

  12. Such a great post Kierston. It's about priorities ultimately and spending and making time for the things that are important to us. But I also needed to read this today because lately, I haven't been making the time and I've felt it. Thank you for the reminder!
