Defining My Strength...

Good morning everyone and...

Happy Little Things Monday to you!

Yep.
It's already Monday!

In this edition of Little Things Monday...

I will be bringing my focus to...

Life! (As a whole and not in the little things within it. In other words, I'm taking a look at the bigger picture!)

By taking moments out of my day to...

Appreciate life for all that it is (and has come to be)...

That it itself makes me see and feel...

How much I truly have to be grateFUl for!

So often we get so pre-occupied with everything that surrounds us, on top of...

Giving all of our energies to getting things done that...

We forget to be grateFUl for the gift of life which we have been given! (In its very simple state!)

Over the past few days (weeks and months)...

More and more have I come to be conscious of the fact that...

Life is truly one the biggest things we will ever come to have and...

We must not take advantage of it!

We have to take the time to appreciate it for all it has to offer...

Take charge of it,  pursue our dreams, and...

Take good care of ourselves while we're at it too!

And...
Each other :)

In one of the many messages my Grampa relayed to me yesterday...

He said...

And you know what?

He's right. (Plain and simple!)

So...

That being said...

I will take his words, work hard, push myself with all of my might...

Working hard and pushing myself.

And...

Keep on moving forward no matter how hard things may get! (I will learn in all that I will come to experience in my journey through life!)

Questions FU You...

  4. I definitely can work on being grateful. When I stop to think about it, I'm grateful for a lot of things! My family, a job in which I get to help others, the ability to run and be free...so many things to be grateful for!

  10. I get my strength from going to work every day (for the past 38) to help children with special needs. I work out before or after to remind myself that I can, and some can't.
Grateful for my job and that I don't have to ever ask anyone for money to buy what I need to live. Cheryl

  22. Your Grampa is a very, very wise man! Thank you for the great reminder today. It's so easy (especially in the bloggie world) to get wrapped up in all the awesome things other have going on and that we forget to be grateful for our own blessing. Great post!
