My Goal Is Far More Tempting!

In follow up to my last post...

I FIT in a Bicep and Triceps Workout with a colleague of mine during our second week away!

It was FUn having a training partner with me!

She was also my running partner!
 (Along with 2 others)
This was before my bad run.

I should mention...

SuperFit  rode his bisSikE (our slang for bike) while I went running! (Keeping up with our long distance fitness relationship! lol)

Let' s just say...

His ride went better than my run! (I'm just happy I didn't suffer from any wheezing post-run. It was really difficult taking deep breaths in, but it regulated itself eventually. ThankFUlly.)

When it came to sticking to my nutritional program...

I stuck to it!

Egg White Omelette with loads of Veggies :)
More Protein with Veggies.
I skipped on the broccoli.
My stomach doesn't always like it.

Although I won't deny...

The desserts did look scrumptious!

Having said that....

My focus remained on my goal(Which allowed me to see past the sugary sweets! lol)

There's no denying...

My goal is far more tempting! 

**Right now, I'm working towards a goal that entails me to follow a specific program. I'm committed to it. If I slip, then I get back up and continue charging after it. I will not beat myself up over it. That being said, that is not an excuse to slip ;) lol I'll wait for my green light to indulge :)**

**And one more thing...If I wasn't working towards my goal, I wouldn't just eat a cookie because it was there for the taking. That would be mindless eating on my part. I like to treat myself, of course, but simply because sweets are thrown in my face doesn't mean I have to eat it! lol I'm continuing to make healthy choices and I'm making a point to indulge mindFUlly**

  2. Nice! Mindless eating happens to be my downfall, too. Which makes it easier for me to defeat when on the road, b/c I am away from home where I do all that!

  3. I think the hardest part of being away from home is not always being able to get in weights (depending on where you're staying and the situation of course). I would go with the strawberries ;-)

  7. I just did a webinar on mindless eating. It's so true that we usually do just eat because there is food in front of us.

    I think it's SO funny that he's doing your signature face in that mirror pic, haha!

    I often focus on how my body will feel after eating something to keep me on track with eating. Yes the Chinese food may smell good, and make me crave it, but I honestly just have to focus on the AWFUL way I feel physically after I eat it (sluggish, sweaty, just plain gross) and that helps me pass on it and enjoy a meal that makes me feel energized and peppy!

    Same goes for cocktails...I tend to stick with wine or cocktails with NO juices or syrups because I remind myself of the sugar hangovers I've had in the past! No fun!
