Stuffed.

Waking up on Easter Sunday came with a much anticipated Easter Egg Hunt!

Both my sister Kiki and I were super excited for it (uhhh ya, I totally was!) after we laid out the goods the evening prior

Teddy was pretty pumped up too!

Just so you know...
Chocolate is not good for dogs!

Before we got to our official hunt...

I made both Kiki and I some breakfast!

I cooked up some Oats for her (as requested):

On the stove top over medium/low heat pour in and mix:
  1. 1/3 cup Oats;
  2. 1/3 cup Milk;
  3. 1/4 cup water (add liquids to desired thickness); and
  4. 2 packets of Vanilla Stevia.
**Feel free to add Protein Powder and substitute the milk for water**

Once cooked...

I topped it with 1/2 a Banana, Cinnamon and Cocoa.

While this was cooking...

I made myself Baked Banana Chocolate Protein Oats! (A touch different from the last time I made it!)

Mix together in a bowl:

  1. 1/2 Cup Oats;
  2. 1/4 cup Egg Whites;
  3. 1 T Ground Flax Seeds;
  4. 1/3 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze;
  5. 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder;
  6. 1/2 a smooshed Banana;
  7. 1 packet of Vanilla Stevia; and
  8. 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder.

Place mixture in 2 medium sized ramekin dishes and bake in the oven at 350F for about 15-20 minutes.

Soooo good!

Once we finished our morning noms...

We hid a few chocolates for SuperFit to find before we started our hunt! (He totally loved it, I don't care what he says! lol)

Once he was done finding his chocola-T goodies...

It was our turn to get hunting!

After 20 minutes of searching (and eating) the chocolates...

Kiki came out the Grand Prize Winner!

She won the Big Bunny...

We shared the ears between the three of us :)

A few hours later...

It was time to meet the family for Easter Lunch! (At the Hilton, Lac Leamy)

The room was the size of a football field...

And...

The food selection was quite large as well!

(SuperFit and I aren't buffet eaters so it's hard to get a bang for your buck when eating out like that! Let's just say, we tried to make the most it! And hey, it's once a year so why not! Plus, it was pretty expensive too :S!)

I've been craving a croissant since New Year's!
I was told to try the Eggs Benedict...
I quickly learned that I don't like Hollandaise sauce one bit!
I scrapped it off. It still wasn't very good.
SuperFit made his own Waffle.
He actually messed it up as it was crispy
 as opposed to fluffy lol
I had a taste of the raspberry crumble.
It was pretty yummy :)
It wasn't FUll to the top lol

After we were done eating and said our goodbyes...

SuperFit and I had one hour to spare before heading off to our second family FUnction! (Yep!)

So we made the most it by...

Riding 25K on our bikes!

I hit 50km/h on the flat!
I was super thrilled even if it was just for 5 seconds.

Once we powered through our ride...

The Masta picked us up and we headed over to our next gathering!

There was lots of food there too! (No doubt!)

Pickled everything!
An assortment of Bread!

We had a great time!

It's really hard for me not to make a face!
The Masta (Dad). Sophie and my sister JoJo :)

The get-together was pretty relaxing as...

We were out in the country side! (About an hour from home!)

And dinner?! Well...

It was traditional and yummy!

Baked White Beans.
Ham. Potatoes and Veggies.
My little brother Jeffrey enjoying his eats :)
My plate.
SuperFit was on a mission to finish her up!
He did.

All in all...

We had a great Easter FUeled with Family, Love and loads of Food! (And chocolate, of course!)

I think it goes without saying that...

I was stuffed! (As was SuperFit!)

Let' just say...

I was looking forward to my clean eats the day following!

Especially...

My Egg Whites! (After two years, I still love them!)

8 Egg Whites, 1 T Ground Flax Seeds (for fluffiness) and Pepper :)

Oh and before I go, Teddy has a few last words...

Questions FU you...

1. Do you find it hard to get back on track after treating yourself to goodies?
2. Did you FIT in some fitness into your long weekend? If so, what?
