My Ultimate Goal + Some Exciting News!!!

As you all know...

I prepared myself FU all 11 weeks FU a FUtoshoot through the *CaNdY FiT* Challenge!

There are many of you, listed or not, who had joined me in reaching a fitness goal beFUre the holiday season!


It was really FUn and motivating to have others join in! (No matter the goal, we were all determined to reach what it was we set out to achieve!)

During my prep...

There were a FU things I was able to reflect on in my pursuit of fitness! (I'm still new to the whole healthy lifestyle thing! It hasn't even been two years yet!)

My thinking face.

The biggest one being:

What is my ultimate goal as I continue on with my journey?

The very beginning of my trek!

I want to take this opportunity to share with you some of my thoughts and feelings! (And I think it's important that I do...it makes me human...right?! lol).

The past two years (almost) have been incredible in every way, shape and FUrm! (Pun intended)


I've been able to discover parts of myself I never thought imaginable, let alone sustainable!

Like training hard (I was always known FU being lazy!)...

Giving it my all!
I now push myself with every workout I do!
Unless it's a light week ;)

Eating right...


And...

Even bringing cycling and running into the mix of things!

My FUrst 8K!

I will admit...

The road I've taken in reaching a life FUeled by Health and Fitness is one that has come with many highs...

Running my FUrst 12.5K!

And lows! (I had to learn to be strong in more ways than one!)


I'd be lying if I said there weren't days I wanted to give up, and...

Give in to my old habits!

Ugh.
*CaNdY* is soooo much better than cottage cheese!
I had to learn to make good, wholesome FU'd...
Yummy
In order to make this lifestyle change possible!
Little did I know...
Chicken would become my new Best FUrend.

In the time spent FUllowing this new lifestyle...

I've learned a lot! (And continue to do so!)

Learning all about portion control ;)
I gave up alcohol in my lifestyle change (personal decision).
I knew I could live without it.
It'll be 2 years in February.

And...

It has challenged me in ways I've never once been challenged beFUre!

Pooped after one of my very FUrst bike rides!

In the FUrst FU months of my re-discovering my physical side (after 7 years!)...

It was one hell of a roller-coaster ride! (Good thing I like roller-coasters! lol)

Like anyone wanting to make any type of positive lifestyle change...

It's not always going to be easy!

It wasn't easy in the beginning!
I had to learn to push through the obstacles in order to succeed.
I really wanted this FU myself.

I find (at least in my opinion)...

We expect big changes within moments of our commitment to get FIT.

About 4 months in.

We often set unrealistic goals (to reach in too short of time) and...

If they are not met within our set timelines...

We tend to give up.

When committing yourself to new and healthy habits...

Salad and a Tuna Wrap as opposed to a...
 Club Sandwich with FUries and Gravy on the side.

Patience is key.

I will admit...

I had to learn to be patient FU the sake of keeping my motivation in tact!

Because trust me...

The moment I'd set high expectations of myself, the more discouraged I got! (The goal was too far away with nothing in between to keep me motivated! I wanted big results...Yesterday!)

So...

I decided to attain smaller, achievable goals with the intention of reaching 'the bigger picture' in a realistic time frame! (That way any type of progress was good! Big or small!)

In the end...

I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this!

That...

It wasn't 'just a phase'! (As most had expected of me. Hey, I expected it of me!)

So I needed to...

And make my goal a reality!

It's not about getting quick results...

It's about making lasting ones!

And that is...

My ultimate goal!

Making lasting changes to my overall health and well-being!

One spoonFUl at a time!

FU me...

It's not about having a FUtoshoot body all year round (nope!)...

It's about leading a life which incorporates Healthy FU'ds, Exercise and most importantly...

Balance! (And when it comes to my SwEeT tooth, I'm going to continue earning my Treats!)

FUrthermore, the goal is my overall Health and Well-being! It is a commitment I've made to myself and I'm not about to give in to temptation everyday because I'm not preparing FU a shoot or competition. I'm working towards a Healthier Me and I plan on sticking to the plan! When it comes to indulging, I enjoy earning my cheats because know I worked FU it and I like that system!

I'm going to enjoy the ride as I continue to pave the road beFUre me in my journey to Health and Fitness...

As for the exciting news...

I was accepted to become a FitFluential Ambassador!!!!

I am so thrilled to be apart of a community of bloggers who promote, believe and have a passion FU...

Health, Fitness and overall Balance!

In other words...

Healthy Living! (Two years sure has changed a lot given the old, sedentary, me!!!)

I am so excited and can't wait FU what this new opportunity will bring, which...

I can guarantee you will involve...

Lots of FUn and new things FU me to share with you all! (Yeppers!)
