Week 6: A Little Bit of Everything...

**November 4 - November 10**

Some might say...

"That FU face will never get old!" (Not literally, I am getting older every year lol)

But my expressions aren't ;)

It dates back to my childhood...

Cute, isn't it?! ;)

Well...

Much like my signature face...

Spaghetti and Meat Sauce will always remain as one of my FUvorite signature meals (made by Mom)! (How I managed to compare a facial expression to FU'd is beyond me! Perhaps it's because I'm carb deprived lol!)

Drooooool...

UnFUrtunately FU me...

Spaghetti (the noodle itself) was not on my list of dietary options during a recent visit to my Mom's place! (Booooo hoo...I know!)

But I did make the most of it...

I had the sauce! (Hey, it's better than nothing! And trust me, you don't want to pass up on this yumminess!)

Mmmm mmmm gooood.
The recipe is still a FUmily secret ;)

At least my SupermanFit enjoyed it all FU me!

He's a growing boy I mean man ;)

Spag. or no Spag....

Snowie (Snowball, Snowman, Snow Snow, ya I'm one of those animal talkers!) and I had a pact to stick to our regime and...

Not let any temptation get in the way of things! (He's on a 'diet' too!)

He's a BIG FUrrr ball!
He was recently put on a fat loss regime by the Vet.
SuperFit and Timbits were right all along...
Snowie isn't just big boned ;)

And plus...

I'd get to carb up soon anyway!

I don't know what I would do without Sushi!

Once the weekend came along...

I got my 'hair did'! (This is really important inFUrmation lol)

Anne-Marie at Vivazen is incredible!

While I darkened up my shade of blonde (FU the winter season)...

SuperFit dressed up FU his 50K bike ride! (It was a bit cooler so he bundled up!)

My facial expression is contagious.
Try it...It's FUn.
1.2.3...Go!
Okay, you don't realllllly have to ;)

3 hours later (ya, 3 hours)...

I got home and ate! (PerFUct timing since I eat every 3 hours! Did I time it? Me?! Nehhhhhver....lol)

FUry up...
4 Egg Whites, 1 small can of Tuna packed in water (and drained),
Spinach and Mrs. Dash Salt-FUree Original Blend.

Once devoured...

SuperFit and I checked out the Fitness Expo during National Capital Fit Day ~click~ in Ottawa!

We also dropped by to say a quick hello to FFA Competitor, Colin!

Coach SuperFit and Colin!
He took part in the Ontario Physique Association's Competition.
He did grrreat!

Once we were done at the Expo...

We stopped by the grocery store to reFUel on one particular essential of mine!

Sweet Long Peppers!
Can you tell I L.O.V.E these?!
Rhetorical question.

I often crunch on them throughout the day or throw them (not literally) into my chicken concoctions!

I now use Mrs. Dash to season almost all of my meals.
As I've been watching my sodium intake...
Mrs. Dash has become my saviour when it comes to taste!
This is the Southwest Chipotle Blend...
I always like to add some heat to my FU'd!
Chicken, Spinach, Asparagus, Red Peppers and Mushrooms.
I added Chili FUlakes FU even more heat!
SatisFUction guaranteed!
FU me at least...
Given my 'dietary' restrictions ;)
I made extras to last me a couple of days!

To put a SweEt end to my weekend...

I had a very FUn meeting regarding a SwEeT Opportunity coming up shortly! (After my FUtoshoot!)

Here's the latest clue found on my FB page!

Once the week started back again (always far too quickly!)...

I went back to Physio!

It felt (to me) as though my recovery was slowing down and...

It was starting to get to me! (Cardio is 100% required in my FUtoshoop prep ~ my metabolism (and SuperFit) said so ~ ThereFU, not being able to do any ~ or very little of it ~ was getting FUrustrating! Plus, I really enjoy it!)

Nothing like a little 'shock' therapy.

After discussing my status with the Physiotherapist...

The prognosis was a positive one! (FUew and really?!!)

She said my recovery was actually going really well (compared to my own beliefs!)...

And in the end...

She gave me the green light to start back with some consistent, low to mild intensity cardio! (Unless of course it's unbearable...Makes sense! lol)

I could begin with the FUllowing:

1. The Elliptical;
2. Walking on the Treadmill;
3. Using my Bike Trainer at home (my road bike is set up on a CycleOps trainer); and
4. Spinning a la FU (meaning no standing or pushing myself too hard too quickly with crazy intervals!).

**I cannot run or train my legs until all pain and discomFUrt have gone away**

She said it wouldn't (shouldn't) aggravate the area of concern (even with the slight discomFUrt), which...

Is now believed to be a hamstring strain! (Whatever it is...I'm just FU'in happy that things are looking UP!!!)

Plus...

It meant I'd get to sweat again!!! (Not smell of sweat ~ well maybe ~, but glisten too! lol)

You better believe I jumped (not really) at the opportunity!
I did 45 minutes (20 minutes more than what's shown) the day I got...
The 'go-ahead'!
There was some slight discomFUrt (but not bad enough to stop)!
Nothing has worsened since!
YAY!

Needless to say...

I'm really happy to get back into my normal routine! (Almost! I've done cardio as prescribed everyday since I got the green light!)

Even if I couldn't do cardio FU a little over three weeks...

Never once did I think of giving up on the goal I set beFUre me!

This goal is a commitment I made to myself and to all those taking part in...

 The *CaNdY FiT* Challenge! (~click~)

We're almost there!!! (Yippeee!)

Stay Tuned FU more on *CaNdY FiT*
