I L.O.V.E. Running!

Gosh...

I never thought I would say these FUllowing words:

"I love running!"

From my pure dislike of the sport (click)...

To what is now becoming a passion of mine...

I am happy to have discovered something new that I truly enjoy!

After completing my last Bike and Run with SuperFit (click)...

I went out running 8K the FUllowing day! (Just me and my ipod!)

I still had my long run of the week left to do!
So I made sure to getter done!

As usual...

I had my post-reFUel snack!

Greek Yogurt, Ground Flax Seeds and Vanilla Stevia.

By the time my next long run came along...

SuperFit wanted to join in on it! (Fine, I guess lol)

Instead of running 8K...

We decided to run 10K! (The last time I did 10K, I had to take some time off because my ankle swelled up and it hurt to walk ~ click ~)

Either way...

I was excited to give it another shot! (No Pain, No Gain...right?!)

I swear I was excited!
(This would really put my new runners to the test (click)!)
Nothing like showing myself who's Boss! 
That's right. 

BeFUre heading out...

I had my Energy Bowl!

Greek Yogurt, Kashi's Go Lean Crunch and Carob Chips!
I'm sad to report my Carob Chips have been discontinued :(
The other brands just don't compare.

There is no denying the extra energy I get from this Nomee BreakFUst Bowl! (I'm not kidding!)

The proof lies in the FUtos below...

Pre-Run Dance.
Monkeying around!
Acting like a kid!
Swinging!
Weeeeeeeee!
Weak attention span.
FUlexing on command.

With all this energy...

I needed to get going beFUre it 'ran' out! (Pun intended)

It was time to go.

I made sure to update my playlist...

As my every intention was to run to the beat!

I made my playlist a little faster this time around!
As the one prior was a little slow!
Although still enjoyable :)

It was a bit cold and windy out so...

We made sure to bundle up! (We wore gloves and I ended up switching my zip up to something warmer!)

While running our 10K loop...

SuperFit signaled every Kilometer we reached with his fingers! (My Nike+ App was programmed FU the halfway point.)

I must admit...

I felt great and loved the slight chill in the weather! (I wasn't drenched in my sweat FU a change!)

By the time we reached our goal...

We still had a Kilometer left to our run! 

We didn't stop...

We deFUnitely kept going!

In the end...

It made FU my longest run yet!

Yaba-Daba-FUuuuuu!
11K - Average pace: 6.13 - Time: 1:08.
I'm slowly getting faster :)

I should mention...

SuperFit runs at my pace! (He's much faster than me...his last 8K he ran in 37 minutes and it was only his third run since he stopped a FU years ago!)

Anyway...

We took a FU FUtos (surrrrprise!) as we were both excited and happy with our run!

WoOt WoOt!
I was even more happy because my ankles didn't hurt!!!
Not even the days that came after :)

All to say...

It's been about 2 months since I started running and...

I'm happy to have given it shot because...

It turned out to be something I absolutely L.O.V.E!
