I'm Almost There!!!

*July 3-8*

As I'm heading into my second last week prior to the show...


My 'diet' has changed once again!

Why?

To reach those FUnal FU touches SuperFit wants to see happening.

Such as:

The overall tightening of my body ("the last 10% to tweak", as he put it).

As my Body Fat (BF) continues to lower (I'm about 9% right now) and...

My weekly meals continue to be pure and simple...

My energy levels are pretty well YoYo'ing.

I can predict when I'll be at my highest... 


and...

When I'll be at my lowest...


All to say...

I'm FU'in tired come 7pm! (I practically fall asleep at the table lol)

It's not uncommon I fall asleep in public either.
This is in an hotel lobby in Mont-Tremblant (2009)

I have to be honest...

I've become a real homebody (as opposed to the fake kind) over the past 2 weeks! 

I'm really, really trying to preserve my energy!

To put it simply...

I am just pooped!

At the end of the day,

The FUrst thing I think about after dinner...

Egg Whites and Spinach blended together.

 is: Sleep.

Exhausted and ready FU bed.

After carb loading over the weekend...


And enjoying some FUlavor FUeled FU'd...

Spinach and Allegro Cheese Omelette with Basil.

Protein Ice Cubes

Salmon Steaks topped with...
Sundried Tomato Pesto and Chopped Onions

Grilled Veggies

I was also cooking my meals for the FUllowing day...

I made little appetizers for SuperFit..
Baguette slices with Basil, Allegro Cheese and a Cherry Tomato
to Top.

I decided to be crazy and make my carbs a movie snack!


In you go Protein Pancakes!
I topped it with Vanilla Stevia FU sweetening :)

**The things you do when you are pre-comp are quite interesting to say the least**

As Monday quickly rolled around...

I had to get back into the game of things and...

Start yet another intensive 'dieting' cycle!

I tried to make it as delicious as possible...

Given the limitations of what I could and could not use in my list of ingredients! 

And trust me...

Two hands are all I need to count what I can have!

Neither, in this case.

More like....

Chicken, Spinach, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Chia Seeds.
This is my FUvorite :)

As a result of these limitations...

My grocery list just ended up getting smaller and smaller...



Yes! I bought Dark Chocolate M&M's FU me!
As one of my post competition treats :)

For the next five days...

I would end up making everything in bulk:




It made it really simple in the morning to pack up my lunch and go!

Again....

Ways to preserve my FU'in energy ;)

Moving on...

Mid-week...

I got together with a FU FUriends for some drinks on the patio!

Don't worry...

I had:

Ice Water with Lemon Wedges...
Shaken, not Stirred.
I've actually given up drinking alcohol in my lifestyle change.

We deFUnitely had loads of FUn catching up!

It was also a really nice break FU me to relax and enjoy the nice weather with great FUriends :)

I have to admit...

The last couple of days of my week were quite exhausting!

I would end up teaching my last Spinning Class for the next 3 weeks...


And...

Sleep at every moments chance.

My body has become really tired at this point in the game...

Really wiped me out...

And took everything I had left!

Although...

I received some very exciting news that would quickly rev my energy levels back up!

What?!

I have been chosen to be one of six girls to promote the Serious About Fitness (SAF) Competition taking place on July 16!

We will be appearing on the A Channel Morning News on Thursday, July 14! (So please tune in at 8:10am!).

I am competing in both Fitness
and Theme Wear.

I was also really happy to hear that I would be sharing this experience with Florida Fitness Aylmer's...

She's in the middle :)

Needless to say...

I am really looking FUrward to it!!!

After a FUllsome week....

FUeled with:

Work;
Training;  
'Dieting'; and
Great News!

I spent FUriday Night in my PJ's relaxing in my Lazy Boy Chair!

It was a perFUct FUriday Night :)
