3 Weeks Out: A Wedding and 'Sammwiches'!

*June 25*

3 weeks away...

And I got to enjoy a new BreakFUst sammwich made with my weekly treat...

Apple, Allegro Cheese, Protein Pancake

I've been craving a Sammwich after being exposed to far too many over the past FU weeks...

Which also include the one's from THINK LUNCH right by my work! (The last time I had one dates back to a year ago!)

That said...

It inspired me to make my own damnit! (within my 'dieting' limits of course)

I sprinkled on some Vanilla Stevia to add that
extra touch of Sweetness :)

Soon after I inhaled this delicious yet simple creation of mine...

I got ready to meet 007 for one of our many coffee dates!

We love Starbucks Venti Iced Passion Tea!
Unsweetened, No Lemonade.

After catching up and sharing many laughs (as per usual)...

We made our way to the gym.

She would be training: Arms

And I would be FUnishing up my last hour of cardio for the week!

*My weeks starts back on Sundays (sometimes Monday depending on my schedule)*

One sweat FUeled session later...

And I got to enjoy a Protein FUeled snack...

I couldn't get enough of my Protein Bowl.

Ingredients to blend:

1 Scoop of your FUvorite Protein Powder
2 tbsp of Greek Yogurt
10-12 Ounces of Water
1 Large HandFUl of Spinach
1/2 tsp of Xantham Gum (for thickening - optional)
4 Ice Cubes

Optional:

Banana
Strawberries
Cocoa Powder

Once I gulped down the last FU drops of my morning snack...

I went out to run a FU errands beFUre my Uncle's Wedding Reception that evening.

Upon my return...

I made myself a quick lunch, which included a FU more pieces of my Apple :)

Greek Yogurt, Apple slices, Oatmeal and Flax Seeds.
This is one of my most FUvorite things to eat!

Soon enough...

It was time to get ready for the evening FUstivities!

I FUnally got to wear this dress!
I bought it 3 years ago lol

The reception took place at the Canal Ritz...

I had never been and unFUrtunately for me...

I wouldn't be able to enjoy their FUll service to FUlly get the FUrst time experience of a new restaurant.

But I worked within the limits of my 'diet', plus...

I was there to celebrate the union of two newlyweds!

Introducing the new married couple!

Upon arrival...

I got a FU shots with my FUmily as some I had not seen for quite some time..

As many as we could get in the FUrame lol

Brothers and Sisters
Aunts, Uncles and my Dad :)
A shot with the Newlyweds!

SuperFit looked FUbulous himself so...

I had to get a FUto with my stud...

SuperFit and Me :)

I was happy to see my lovely cousins...

It had been awhile!

Rocking the purples and pinks :)

And of course...

A FUto with The Masta!

My FU'in awesome Dad!

100 pictures later...

We took our seats.

On the menu for the evening...

Options included:
Soup or Salad,
Chicken, Pasta, Salmon or Steak
and of course...
Dessert.

Both SuperFit and The Masta had the soup to start...

He also went all out and had butter. lol

SuperFit was happy with his Squash Soup.

I, of course, had the salad (with balsamic vinegar)...

I won't deny that I wanted a small piece of ...

The warm and crusty bread!

Nom Nom Nom

For our main course:

Both SuperFit and I had the Chicken Brochette...

Except I skipped on the rice and salad and asked for steamed Asparagus instead...

The Masta had the Salmon...

And one of my cousins had the Filet Mignon...

Once we were FUnished with our dinner...

It was time to choose from the dessert list!

I read it.

Little did everyone know (or quite possibly FUrgot)...

The Wedding Cake was also being served.

It was a Strawberry Shortcake from Swiss Pastries...

www.swisspastries.ca/cakes.html

SuperFit enjoyed every bite...

To the very last piece...

Although, that didn't stop him from his second serving of dessert!

He described this as...
"Pure Gluttony"
He justified his second dessert based on the
12 hours of cycling he did that week lol

I would have gone with the Carrot Cake (exciting I know - my cravings are a bit odd right now lol)

Chocolate or Carrot, it didn't matter as...

There was no sweet nothing for Baby Fu!

I had coffee.

Not tequila!

Although Lemon Wedge would have been okay ;)

Either way, I was quite happy with my coffee :)

As the evening came to an end...

We said our goodbyes and gave our best to the newlyweds.

I also made sure to give my sweet FUriend Katie a hug...

She is an amazing woman and I was really happy
to have had the chance to catch up with her :)

After we bid our FUrewells...

I went home and had ice cream.

Imagine lol

I actually went home and thought up a new protein FUeled Summer Treat :)

This was probably inspired by all the desserts that evening!

Protein FUeled 'Ice Cream' Sammwiches ;)
