Week 6 ~ Part 1: Sunshine, CuPcaKes and BBQs

A new week, another trip to the grocery store...

Simple and Clean

As my competition approaches, the more redundant my grocery list becomes. 

I don't even need a FUll sheet of paper!

My 'diet' is getting stricter as the days and weeks go on, so I have less FU'd options to pick and choose from. 

Although....

It makes grocery shopping a lot easier!

There is no FUlling up with any of the yummy stuff I could treat myself to from time to time...

But, I will often buy SuperFit a FU treats...

One of his FUvorites!

One might ask:

1. Does it drive you insane to buy this stuff when you can't have any?!; or
2. Does SuperFit eat this in front of you and if so do you find it unfair?

My answer:

Not at all! (Plus, I'm the one who surprises him with these goodies)

Of course...

I'd love (and I mean LOVE) to have a taste...

Mmmm...Cho-co-late....
SuperFit indulges in these goodies when he gets back from a bike ride.
One small handFUl will restore his glycogen levels.
Like he says "It's All calculated"

But for the time being my heart is set on my goal!

I'm committed in getting myself perFUctly stage ready, and I'm not about to compromise this simply because I have a craving for sweetness!

I've had my whole life to dig in and savour everything I've ever wanted!

Therefore...

Taking some time off of these FUreakin' delicious treats is not too much to ask for (but will not deny is difFucult to resist at times!).

Such as this recent visit to my Mom's place...

She made CuPcAkEs!
Is it just me or is it every time I go over...
CuPcAkeS have just been baked?!

At least one of us got to enjoy them....

It was so bad, he FUnished it all lol

Luckily for me...

I was told I could have an apple in my 6th week!

After having talked about apples with SuperFit the week prior (this was all based on the snacks ofFUred at the hotel but more speciFUcally, a commercial I saw on TV!), he said...

"FU, you are looking the part and you're right on track! You can have your apple (and eat it too)!"

I was so FU'in excited, I savored it over a span of two days....

I dropped my apple and bruised it as you can tell ;)

I had half one morning and the other half the next...

I mixed it in with my Greek Yogurt.
It was so amazingly good and juicy!
A perFUct treat :)

As the week progressed...So did the weather! 

It was absolutely gorgeous out, so I wanted take advantage of it as best I could....

Like washing my Bike...

It was really dirty as a result of biking in the rain...

SuperFit went out on the rainiest of days!
I decided to sit that one out...

He showed me how to properly clean mine 
as there's a very particular way of doing it!

And, BBQ'in...

I should have cooked this on the BBQ as well!

Steak, Sweet Potato and Stir-fried Veggies :)
I can't remember the last time I had red meat.
This was  SuperFit's dinner.

We couldn't have asked for better weather to BBQ so...

On a FU other gorgeous evenings, I cooked up some Chicken, FUsh & Veggies...

Yummy!
I wrap my FUsh better than I do gifts!

I also took my own advice and cooked veggies on the BBQ....

Apparently they were delicious!
My 'diet' is really strict right now, so I cannot have any seasoning
with anything I eat.

Recipe:

  1. Mushrooms
  2. Cherry Tomatoes
  3. Chopped Peppers
  4. 2 tbs of olive oil
  5. 1/2 cup of Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar
  6. 2tbs of Chat Masala (an Indian Spice)
  7. Dash of Salt
Mix all together to evenly coat and place on a BBQ safe pan for 20 minutes - or stir-fry them inside :)

**You can substitute Chat Masala with Dried Thyme**

Needless to say...

I took FUll advantage of  this FUntastic invention :) 

We did, of course, hang out on our  awesome new deck...
(SuperFit built it last year....I drilled a FU nails in lol)

I just came back from teaching a Spin Class!

I took the leftover peppers to work the next day...

Mmmm... So crunchy and juicy :)

I must say...

I deFUnately have not gotten sick of peppers yet...

As you can tell ;)

Since they've kept me nice and strong alongside my Proteins and Carbs...

This was at SuperFit's request ;)
