Cuba ~ Day 3: Scoot Scoot! Baby Fu and SuperFit coming your way!

When I woke up on Day 3 of our Cuban vacation, I laughed at the sight of this...

My FUngers were imprinted in my leg lol
Sign of a good sleep!

As we got ready for our morning work out, I had a quick read through my Women's Health Magazine while enjoying a Protein Shake...

It's a really good issue!

On the menu for our workout:

Cardio & Shoulders.

You'll start noticing the gradual tan as I continue to post these lol

Once we completed our intense cardio session, we moved on to our Shoulders (my favorite muscle group to train!) :)

Shoulder Press

Push it Fu!

Standing Barbell Press

Common SuperFit ;)

Side laterals
Front Laterals
Now that is a killer face!

When we finished our workout, we grabbed our breakfast from the buffet...

Mmmmmm...

Can you believe someone had the audacity to sit next to us and tempt me with the following?!!...

As soon as I saw this, SuperFit said...
"Fu, don't even think about asking her for a spoonful"
I was just about to....It was written all over my face.
But, it did have to last her the week.

When we finished our breakee, we beached it up (as per our usual routine) and had lunch....

Beets, Beef, Black Beens and Fruit
I finally had red meat!
(I don't eat beef very often)

We then decided to go on a Scooter Adventure!

I decided to hang on to my dear life by riding with SuperFit...
As he rode SuperBikes (motorcycles) for a large portion of his life!
But, gave it all up for cycling (true story!)

We were going the max speed!
80km/h with the backwind!
Although on our way back, we could only reach 53km/h because of the headwind.
We kept on blurting "Common, Push it Scooter! Let's go!"
It was almost like a workout for Scoot (no, I didn't name it lol) ;)

I need to be reminded that taking FUtos while Scooting is not safe...

As we approached the end of the road (yes, it ends abruptly)...

On a bright Varadero Highway..Cool wind in my hair!
(A little edit to The FUmous Eagles Tune)

We got stuck in the sand....
SuperFit had to manually get Scoot back on the road!

One sandy situation later, we found ourselves by a beautiful beach!

The water was crystal blue!

:)
Someone kindly offered to take a FUto for us.

I had to stretch out my limbs...
I was extremely soar after our bumpy ride!
Notice the water colours on either side...

As we took in our last breath of the gorgeous breeze, we said goodbye to the beach and headed out to the market...

Mastering the art of parking a Scooter...

The fake parking attendant watched our scooter for 1 peso.
I say fake because he directed us where to park and 'air wrote' our license plate...
As in he pretended to write it on his empty clipboard.
There was no actual parking attendant for street parking.
He was there when we got back, so we gave him a FU extra pesos :)
We then asked for directions...he directed us in the wrong direction lol

While shopping around...

I bought a Hat and SuperFit a Map.
I know, we're High Rollers!

When we rented the Scooter, we were told to fill Scoot's tank before bringing him back....

It took us 1/2 hour to find a Gas Station...
We were told they were everywhere (not! lol)

Filling up Scoot was a tad conFUsing...

So the Gas Attendant (he wasn't fake), stepped in. Abruptly.

When we got back to the hotel, it was time to get ready for our dinner at Ging Seng...

I like him ;)

"Sommmmewhere Ovvver the Bridge", there's a buffet.

The only available reservation was at 9pm, so we had a little appetizer to start...

Crab and Pineapple

We would be accompanied for supper by the bride and groom. We were all so excited as we (unfortunately) set high expectations of our evening out at the Asian FUsion restaurant...

Our smiles are fake...
We  didn't enjoy our dinner...
Well, the very little that was served.

Such as the sushi...

Her face says it all...
The rice was overcooked and the fish was a bit fishy...
As in it didn't taste quite right.
I had one piece (and we all know how much I love sushi!)

The boys on the other ate everything....
They were just hungry and could have eaten anything at that point!

Like a teaspoon of Wasabi!
He's mouth was on fire but he hid the burn quite well lol

Now, this ladies and gentleman was....
Our main course.
Two bite size pieces of chicken (with a bone) and a tablespoon of rice.
At least it had good flavour.
But needless to say, some us went back to the buffet to fill up.

It was a bit of let down, but there's always Ging Sing back home :)

Find me, then look at my face in comparison to everyone else lol

Stay Tuned for Day 4 on *CaNdy FiT*
